It has become a dream of many human beings in 21st century when traveling became not only a need for learning and exploring the world but also a trend, which I don’t like admitting, on the one hand. Anyway, doesn’t matter what your reason is, here is a list of jobs you can do to make your dream come true.

Cruise Ship Crew Member. Depending on your skills and experience, you can work as a bartender, waiter or florist on cruise ships. If you are very sociable, do not have seasickness, and are not afraid of working around 10 hours per day, this is a good option for you. It’s a good chance to wander between different continents and enjoy warm weather all the time.

Fly Attendant. It is a great opportunity to find yourself every day in a new city and to be able to visit around 15 places within one months. It’s a good way to earn good money as well. However, you need to love flying because you will spend more time in the air rather than on surface. 

Sportsman. You may know that professional sportsmen travel a lot. If you are one of those or are interested to become one, go ahead.

Language Teacher. English language teachers are now in demand all over the world. Besides, depending on the country, teachers of other languages are in need as well. Just google it.

Dance Classes or Yoga Teacher. If you are passionate about dancing or yoga and are good at it, why not to travel abroad and share your experience with those willing to learn.

Babysitter. You have probably heard of Au Pair. If not, it is a service that let you find a host family abroad and take care of its kids. The program usually lasts for one year. It’s a good chance to travel and learn or improve languages.

Volunteer. From my own experience I must admit that there are a number of volunteer opportunities abroad. Life is not enough to try all of them. If you are up to try at least on of them, here is a volunteer travel list that can help you choose.

Seasonal Work. If you are seeking for a seasonal job and would like to do it somewhere abroad, fruit-picking will be a nice option for you. Work and travel programs to the USA, Canada, Australia are another options of a seasonal work.

Jobs in Travel Sphere

Travel Journalist. You are good at writing articles, aren’t you? You have good knowledge of the English language? Then give a try to this profession.

Travel Photographer. You can spend hours on taking pictures and thinking of a good angle for shooting? Your hobby is becoming more than just a hobby? Why not to turn it into a profession?

Travel Blogger. 5 years ago not many people heard about this occupation. Not many could get a blog at those days. Nowadays, it is so easy that it has become popular to own a blog. Why not if you have experience and would like to share it!

Tour Operator. Thanks to globalization so many new jobs that allow to travel around the world exist nowadays, that many simply forget about the old good profession of a tour operator. If you are a good storyteller, why not to try then?

Online Jobs in IT Sphere

Freelancer. This is one word that generalize most of jobs in the online sphere that can be done at any corner of the world if you have the laptop and access to the Internet. There are many websites where you can find jobs for freelancers. You may start with creating profiles on the most popular ones such as Upwork.com and Freelancer.com. Here is the list of freelancing professions in the IT sphere that you can research. Who knows, maybe one of these is what you do well in your home country. Who knows, maybe it’s time to try something new.
